Elise was thrilled to bring her passion for mission-driven company creation to Oxeon. This passion began during college, when she was selected as one of the original StartingBloc Fellows, and grew when she co-founded a social good startup. First joining Oxeon’s executive search division, she focused on the financing of healthcare companies by recruiting investors into the private equity firms General Atlantic and Altamont Capital among others. Within Oxeon’s Venture Studio, she helps investigate challenges across the healthcare sector and develop companies to solve these pain points.
A true creator/creative at heart, Elise is a also a Company Member with the renowned modern dance company, Jennifer Muller/The Works. She has performed in such venues as the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, Kaatsbaan International Dance Center, Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out, and a variety of theaters around NYC.
Elise grew up in South Bend, Indiana, so she is obviously a die-hard Notre Dame football fan. She journeyed to New York to attend Barnard College, Columbia University, where she majored in American Studies, was a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She spends every spare minute munching on the best baked goods in New York City, worrying about the amount of plastic not being recycled, and doing yoga.
