Growing up in a family of doctors, Kurt had an early passion to “make people healthier.” When studying political science and health policy as an undergraduate, Kurt became fixated on preventative health measures and improving social determinants of the US healthcare system. This focus quickly led him to Oxeon, where Kurt has made it his goal to understand the intricate infrastructure behind healthcare access and clinical care. He believes that the teams built at Oxeon will drive the future of the healthcare industry and is honored to be a part of shaping this path.
Kurt graduated from Columbia College where he majored in Political Science. While at Columbia, Kurt co-founded the CU Bioethics Society, where he pursued his interest in analyzing the ethical stakes behind health issues. Although he has lived in New York for five years, Kurt is quick to remind you he was born in Texas and never misses a chance to see his Houston Astros beat up on the Yankees. When not at the office, Kurt can usually be found on the Central Park tennis courts—or occasionally the Riverside courts.
