Since joining the firm in 2017, Sam has led both organizational design and executive search work across Oxeon’s venture and private equity-backed clients. She’s had the good fortune of partnering with investors, founders, and executive teams on searches spanning Chief Executive, Operations, Technology, Commercial, Medical, Operating Partner, and Board Director placements. Sam also leads Oxeon’s Break Into the Boardroom program, a joint venture partnership with Deerfield Management and Welsh, Carson, Anderson, and Stowe to help promote greater representation of female healthcare executives on boards within the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
Prior to Oxeon, Sam was a Director at Divurgent LLC, a boutique healthcare management consultancy. Sam was recruited to launch their Transformational Services practice and built a $25M revenue engagement portfolio... Prior to Divurgent, Sam was a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting’s Organizational Transformation and Talent practice. She has worked with a number of integrated healthcare delivery systems on large scale M&A and technology driven organizational change initiatives. Sam launched her career in healthcare at The Advisory Board Company, where she partnered with clients on a range of projects from Pioneer ACO strategy and reporting to clinical effectiveness and device utilization.
A resident of Brooklyn, NY, Sam is a Maryland native. Outside of the office, you can typically find her with her partner in crime: 5 year old Goldendoodle Scout.
