Shalini joined Oxeon keen to contribute to entrepreneurial efforts to drive change in the inefficient and misaligned US healthcare industry. She is struck by the fact that the US has the highest healthcare spending per capita in the world, but with significantly worse outcomes than many other countries. Given the challenges of delivering accessible and affordable care to underserved populations, she is excited to be a part of Oxeon’s effort to place effective leadership teams in companies pioneering innovative solutions.
Originally from the Washington DC area, Shalini graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Political Science. Although St. Louis will always hold a special place in her heart, she is excited to be back on the East Coast and is eagerly exploring New York City. In her spare time she can be found searching for her favorite plot of green space in the city, grocery shopping for the thrill of it, or enjoying a leisurely nature walk.
