Michael joined Oxeon to combine his interest in healthcare with his lifelong belief in the power of relationships and developing connections. The maxim ingrained in him at a young age was “those that do good, should do well”. Healthcare provides the perfect outlet to fulfill that vision. He’s inspired by the wide-range of companies that Oxeon partners with and the diverse group of leaders championing a more transparent and equitable healthcare system.
Prior to Oxeon, Michael spent three and a half years working for Chelsea Piers, the premier sports and entertainment complex in New York. At Chelsea Piers, Michael managed all marketing and communications for the Field House and served as the Director of the Chelsea Piers Scholarship Fund, a program granting more than 500 scholarships for youth athletic programming each year.
Michael was born and raised in New York and graduated from Bates College with a B.A. in History and American Culture. He was also a four year member of the Varsity Football team where he learned the importance of teamwork, grit and leadership and how integral they are to success. When he’s not working, he can be found planning his next ski or golf trip, impersonating Bobby Flay in the kitchen, or being tortured by the New York Jets.
