Michael was Oxeon’s first summer intern and returned following his graduation from Boston College. His favorite part about working at Oxeon has been and always will be the people, both the executives he interacts with and the stellar internal team that Oxeon continues to build. Michael loves solving problems that lie at the confluence of people, business, and technology and is passionate about advancing Oxeon’s ability to create value for its clients, investments, and network.
Michael spent the early part of his Oxeon career working on some of the firm’s most exciting executive searches for clients like Evolent Health, Landmark Health, and athenahealth. After two years of immersing himself in Oxeon’s core business, he transitioned into an operations role. In this position, he drove initiatives that improved the way Oxeon functioned through scale and also worked as a management consultant on external strategy projects for Oxeon’s clients, ranging from Series A startups to well-established large healthcare organizations. Today, Michael serves as the Director of Operations where he owns the operational functions of the business and works with leaders internally to build the best platform for Oxeon to fulfill its mission of making people healthier.
A proud Vermonter, Michael grew up in the small town of Stowe before studying Economics and Psychology at Boston College. Despite growing up in New England, Michael is an avid fan of New York’s unsuccessful sports franchises and will likely be an old, old man before his Jets or Mets ever win championships. He credits his maternal grandparents, a doctor and a nurse, for sparking an early passion in health and lives that passion (or at least tries to!) via triathlons, his fitness pursuit du jour.
